We’re very excited about the 2021 cohort of Migration Narratives Project grantees— an impressive group of scholars, religious and community leaders, activists, and artists who will be working to tell the many stories of immigrants and refugees in Texas through narrative, oral history and other interpretive storytelling methods over the next six months.
We’re also deeply grateful for the dedication, and expertise of our Grants Jury Committee, who worked together to evaluate the many excellent proposals we received. Thank you to Dr. Jennifer Graber (University of Texas at Austin Department of Religious Studies), Dr. Francisco Lozada, Jr. (Brite Divinity School and the Borderlands Institute), Dr. Habiba Noor (Trinity University Department of Education and Story Lab), Gabriel Solis (Texas After Violence Project), and Dr. Angela Tarango (Trinity University Department of Religion)! Their good work has made this initiative possible!
