Digital Story Exhibits

This exhibit showcases the projects of 21 grant recipients– scholars, activists, and artists– who document experiences of migration in Texas through narrative, oral history, documentary, art, and other interpretive storytelling methods. We invite you to explore these projects and consider how these stories and the multidimensional experiences of immigrant families shape Texas today. This program is made possible by the generous support of the Henry Luce Foundation.

Since the early 20th century, Palestinians have fled their homeland to all different parts of the world— including Texas. Palestinian Stories in Texas documents the lives of Palestinians in Texas, including the similarities between the Palestinian and Texan landscapes. We invite you to listen to these stories as Palestinian Texans share their experiences of belonging, dislocation, and life in Texas.

This podcast series explores IDCL’s oral history archive and highlights the many stories of Texas and dynamics of belonging, marginalization, and the spaces in between.
